About LOG IN and Privacy:

Every attempt has been made to protect the private information of the living. This is based on a birth and or death date, and if this information is missing then it is possible for the information on a living person to be shown. If you see any such individuals, please inform us and we will mark them as living.
(Better still, send us the dates!)

Logging in with a username and password will allow you to see all the information.

July 22, 2010 - Busy trying to get the modifications installed. Remember most features and people are not viewable unless you login which means you must be registered.
1. Added a Family Group Submission Form. If you have information you'd like to contribute, fill out the PDF form (you must have Adobe Acrobat) and when you submit, it will e-mail it. Please, someone try it out. Even if you just want to add a middle name or something.
2. Added a World Map of Events. You can choose a span of 50 years and see on the world map events relating to our family. You can zoom in and click on a pin and it will bring up a list of births, deaths, marriages, etc.for that time period in that location. Kinda fun to play with. You can filter by event by clicking the events at the bottom of the page.
3. All pages that submit forms, Registration and the submission form, have that annoying Captcha security thingy that keeps internet bots from flooding my e-mail. We'll try it for awhile and maybe remove it if it becomes to annoying.

July 13, 2010 - I've upgraded the genealogy software to version 8. You won't see much difference on the outside, but as I add features in the next few days, you'll see some neat things. One is the Calendar mentioned below.
1. Changed the size of this page to fit all browsers and screen resolutions.
2. Added a Calendar feature that lets you see at a month's glance version of the events you see above under the daily lists.
3. Seriously considering making it necessary to log in to see the entire site. This makes our information more secure. Anyone who wants in has to give a legit reason.

July 03, 2010 - Dressed up the home page a little. Added a lot of new features.
1. Added direct links to our two families at the upper right-"Dad's side" (Cosfords and Nelson) and "Mom's side" (Vassallo and Bruno). The links will take you to the ancestor tree where you can view all the members of the family by clicking on the links.
2. Added some short video clips copied from old home movies. Only 3 so far, all with starring me and various family members. People links to videos are at the bottom of their respective pages. You can also see a list of them by clicking on the "Video" link, or under the Media menu on any individuals page.
3. Added a FAQ page and a submissions page that will eventually allow you to fill out a form with information to be added to the database. I'm having trouble getting the "submit by e-mail" button to work.
4. Added Divorce dates. Don't have many divorce dates. I plan on going through online archives to find some more.
5. Added Death and Anniversary notifications to the "Events of the Day" section of the home page.
6. Added a bunch of canned Reports to the Report Page. Many are maintenance reports that are run to find out stuff like who's missing a birthdate, missing a mother or father, etc. You can see how many other people share your zodiac sign if you're into that kinda stuff. Reports are good for finding out errors, for instance, there are 2 men who were married at 2 years old! These reports came from a website, so I don't know what half of them mean, but they are there anyway.
7. Added pictures of headstones of some of our dearly departed.
